To actuate locomotor systems (e.g. supporting tables in medical technology), we manufacture functional and design components from the combination of various PUR systems.
We meet special requirements for functionality and surface finish such
as soft-touch surface with integrated keypad for electronic control
units. By foaming a PUR semi-hard integral system onto a PUR compact
duromer carrier, button functionality and soft-touch surfaces are
attained. Further functional requirements are realized through custom
painting and surface printing.
In order to combine functionality and design, a hard casing made from a
compact polyurethane system is foamed in place with a soft shell. This
is how we manufacture, e.g., the control panel casing for the
Magnetograph (MX) X-ray machine. The body is made from a compact
duromer and provides stability; the soft and flexible shell provides
the adequate surface feel and a seamless surface which is easy to clean
and disinfect and which can easily be imprinted, e.g., with symbols and
keys and subsequently coated.
