Folding and corrugated bellows for trams

We design and manufacture bellows tailor-made to meet the requirements for trams – from folding bellows over single corrugated bellows to double corrugated bellows. Together with our customers we create constructive solutions – for special demands on motions, special fireproofing properties or a harmonious appearance; removable floor panels which give access to the vehicle articulation without the need to dismantle the bellows are included as well as the special design in shape and color of the components.

Reliable

Our folding and corrugated bellows are being utilized in numerous cities and towns throughout the world. The basis for quality and durability is high-quality materials with particular properties such as UV resistance, cold and heat resistance as well as high tear, tear growth and wear resistance. HÜBNER folding and corrugated bellows completely compensate any extreme movements of the railcar bodies, e.g. in tight turns in city centers. This ensures that passengers have safe and convenient access to the individual vehicle sections.

Convenient

The careful selection of fabrics and materials increases sound insulation and therefore improves passenger convenience. Upon customer request, air conditioning ducts are integrated into the bellows that provide good ventilation throughout the tram. They consist of box bellows with mounting, are flexible and are utilized in shape, size and number to meet respective requirements. There are various mounting systems available for fixing the bellows to the vehicle, e.g. quick-release systems offer the possibility to reduce disassembly times to a minimum.
