Special applications require special product ideas. The basis for quality and durability are high-quality materials with particular properties such as UV resistance, cold and heat resistance as well as high tear, tear growth and wear resistance. HÜBNER has developed highly vandalism-proof fabrics which offer additional safety and can be used for the production of our folding and corrugated bellows to meet customer requirements.
Dimension and quality
Double deck auto transports require gangway systems that are particularly wide and high. HÜBNER corrugated bellows guarantee quality – in any size. Special design and the careful selection of materials ensure low-maintenance gangways and a long service life.
Individual solutions
We offer various possibilities to mount the gangway to the vehicle: simple screw-fastening, special mounting or quick-coupling systems which connect two gangway halves or a gangway to the vehicle front. Integrated centering aids and easy-to-use manual coupling systems facilitate the handling and reduce assembly and idle times to a minimum.
Connections
Our corrugated bellows have been connecting the individual auto transport cars of the Shuttle Train between Great Britain and France since 1994. The distinctive feature is the large size. With a width of approx. 4 m and a height of approx. 5.3 m they are among the largest gangways in the world. For years these bellows have had to withstand high air pressures – caused by passing trains in the tunnel system – without showing any signs of material fatigue.
