After HÜBNER has presented the various and richly diverse possibilities for the exterior design of vehicle bellows in the last few years, their attention has now turned increasingly to the interior. The newly developed bellows interior trim for buses optimises the appearance of the connecting gangway. The opportunity is exploited to create a harmonious theme in connection to the complete interior design of the vehicle; so that the articulation section can be better accentuated. As well as form function comes to the fore: Heat and noise insulation have been vastly improved in comparison to a standard bellows. In addition, materials are employed that are, ecologically seen, a quantum leap forward. Thanks to modern moulding techniques and fresh new materials, a pleasant interior has been created where the passengers can feel comfortable and completely at ease.
In the growing markets of India or Africa it is important for bus manufacturers to bring articulated buses onto the market that fulfil all the essential technical requirements. They must be able to be built and maintained with the know-how of the host country.
The from HÜBNER newly conceived articulation HNG 21 has been developed with the specific requirements of such markets in mind. Manufactured with the established and proven quality, the range of functions and the purchased parts package are kept to the basic technical characteristics. It possesses clear interfaces, based purely on the articulation; it is however delivered without any attached construction. This gives the vehicle manufacturer leeway to produce an economically interesting chassis to local possibilities and technical standards. Despite the absence of electronics, a high degree of stability can be guaranteed, without the limited maintenance possibilities of the target markets being overstretched.
The HÜBNER Transportation GmbH will introduce its newly developed electric ramp SKADI at the IAA. The patented system will, just as its predecessor did, help to facilitate entry and contribute to making travelling a care free experience for disabled people. Developed and constructed as a Plug and Play-Ramp, this enables the new SKADI to be installed quickly and easily in many different types of vehicles.
It uses the latest technology and it is now even simpler for transport companies to upgrade and perform maintenance on their vehicles. Should maintenance ever be necessary, it is possible to disassemble, repair or even replace tread plate and drive without tools. This is just a matter of minutes, translating into an absolute minimum or no lost operating time. Customers’ wishes and requirements have been the driving force behind the development of this flexible ramp technology. The high quality and safety features all correspond to DIN 32985 and 2001/85/EC.
What makes the SKADI so unique is the especially simple assembly and the fast access to main components. The complete system is to be found pre-assembled in its own box. This can either be installed inside, or if you wish, be fixed to the underside of the vehicle. After being assembled, the ramp system merely needs a power supply via cable and plug – that is all.
As well as this new product, HÜBNER Transportation will also present its other well known and popular products at the IAA. For instance, the customer favourite, the tried and tested fully automatic Liftsystem EXEO II, also the very durable Hand Operated Ramp HK Evolution. These products will also be at the IAA to help illustrate the product diversity of the HTG.
